Daze Build (Apollo)
Apollo's Daze gives enemies a chance to miss, and his boons widen your abilities. A large, forgiving build that controls rooms while it deals damage.

What this build is
Apollo’s Daze gives enemies a chance to miss, which is both defense and uptime: a missing enemy is not hurting you and is open to your next hit. Apollo also expands the area of Melinoe’s abilities, so your attacks cover more ground and apply Daze to more foes. The result is a big, forgiving build that controls and damages a whole room rather than one target.

An Apollo Duo that adds blind, extra area, or burst is strong. Names shift with patches, so take the archetype: a Duo that widens or amplifies your area control.
Daedalus Hammer to look for
Take the Hammer that widens your attack or adds area, since bigger coverage applies Daze to more enemies and stacks the miss chance across the room.
Arcana Cards note
Favor cards that raise boon rarity and damage. Higher-rarity Apollo boons mean more Daze and wider area. See Arcana Cards.

Do this in order
- Take the Apollo boon that applies Daze on your main hit.
- Add area boons so each hit covers more enemies.
- Spread your wide attacks across the room to Daze as many foes as possible.
- Add a damage boon or second status so Daze control turns into kills.
- Layer deflect or Weak for extra safety.
- Use the Hex on dense groups to maximize coverage.
Watch out for
- Treating Daze as your only damage. It is a control status; pair it with real hits.
- Narrow attacks that Daze only one enemy. Lean into area.
- Standing still mid-Omega while surrounded. You are vulnerable mid-cast.
